Dr. Cohen is a general neurologist specializing in behavioral neurology and dementia (e.g. Alzheimer’s); Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders; epilepsy; headache and MS.
Dr. Cohen is a neurologist practicing in Aventura for the past 15 years. Amongst other duties Dr. Cohen was the past Chief of Medicine and Vice Chief of Staff at Aventura Hospital. He also initiated the stroke service. Dr. Cohen has a private practice that offers a wide array of tests and investigations, conducts clinical trials and offer Botox for neurological diseases.
Dr. Cohen is board certified in South Africa, and the United States since 1998 with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He completed his residency at the University of Miami.
