D. Shmuels
Dr. Shmuels earned his Doctorate in Medicine from the Colegio Mayor Del Rosario School of Medicine in 1996. He obtained his Bachelors and Masters Degree from AIUB, Brooklyn, NY, in 2007. Subsequently, Dr. Shmuels earned his certification as an HIV specialist from AAHIVM, Washington D.C., in 2008.
Dr. Shmuels obtained a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Florida International University, Miami, Florida, in 2013. He is the Director of Quality Outcomes and Performance Improvement for the Borinquen Health Care Centers. Dr. Shmuels devoted his career to improving the quality of care rendered to patients, thus providing Apex with a wealth of knowledge regarding its reporting process and quality control.
